Curator's Statement

“The incredible thing about the Chives Window Space is it brings installation artwork nearly to street level year round. The artwork presented in the Chives Window Space can be witnessed by anyone who walks passed it from the Barrington Street side walk. We look for works that activate the space in unexpected and creative ways. This is a place to expand your artistic expression, experiment with different approaches of installing your work and push the boundaries of what installation work can be. We love the unexpected and so do the viewers that walk passed the window by chance, unknowing of its existence. It’s a place to stop and stare.” - Kate Grey, Chives Window Space Curator
